Job Description:
Job Summary

The Global Ad Operations Manager will join a team who is responsible for the correct set-up in adservers and/or adverification servers of digital campaigns for a wide range of large international clients managed within the Global Ad Operations Centre of Excellence in Madrid, Spain


With functions including supervision of day-to-day trafficking of campaigns and client-side tagging, as well as troubleshooting or technical implementation issues, the role requires an excellent customer service orientation, supporting other Havas teams across planning and trading functions, to optimize campaigns and maximize advertising results.


The role requires natural interest of understanding the overall set of ad technology platforms and inter-relationship between them to provide with best in breed approaches and solutions to the digital tracking and optimization of digital marketing campaigns for our Global clients.


This will require daily interaction with internal teams such as digital media planning and analytics, external clients, and ad technology partners to ensure consistent and accurate delivery of all digital advertising campaigns.

Mission & Responsibilities

  • Understand specificities of each client advertising stack and data collection ecosystem
  • Understand client objectives and how the agency delivers media strategies to accomplish them
  • Support media planning discussions regarding trafficking strategies and related measurement needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (planners and traders) to provide with bestinclass tracking implementations
  • Provide custom client solutions to specific tracking needs or campaign implementation (e.g. DCO)
  • Steward compliance of guidelines/standards for each client, updating documentation when applicable
  • Manages workload across team members, balancing demand and priorities across clients
  • Oversee the correct setup of campaigns for each client following the correct guidelines/standards
  • Resolve issues questions about campaign setup and trafficking with the team or 3rd parties
  • Liaise with planning teams, programmatic/social traders, or publishers) to troubleshoot issues
  • Liaise with 3rd party companies to find solutions or troubleshoots issues (tag management, consent, analytics, trading teams, publishers,)
  • Oversee trafficking processes and ensure ongoing compliance within Global team members
  • Support on training initiatives (both internally and with other AdOps teams or planning/trading teams)
  • Support to keep knowledge base and client related documentation always up to date
  • Support on building different tools to run and optimize execution of internal processes
  • Stays aware of the latest technologies to improve agency offering
Experience
- +3 years of experience in ad operations, trafficking, and ad technologies in a Global media agency

  • International experience is a plus
Technical skills

  • Extensive experience with different adserving solutions (CM360, AdForm, Flashtalking)
  • Extensive experience with main adverification technologies (DoubleVerify, IntegralAdScience, MOAT)
  • Basic knowledge of tag management systems (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Tealium)
  • Broad understanding of analytics solutions (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics,)
  • Broad understanding of other AdTech solutions: DSP, So
