    Management Accountant

    TLDR

    As Management Accountant at FitXR, you will be in charge of managing some of the day-to-day finance processes within the company, ensuring that we have timely and accurate data to drive our decision-making. You will spend your time split between helping set up best-in-class financial controls and delivering detailed reports to help make effective business decisions.

    Where you'll spend your time

    • Help the Financial Controller with multiple areas of responsibility, including:
      • Management Accounts preparation and review, liaising with the Financial Assistant
      • Treasury duties, managing interest accounts and FX best practices
      • Taxation management across the UK, USA and Spain
    • Be responsible for the day-to-day finance, assisting the team with some of the following functions:
      • Accounts payable - manage processing and paying invoices on time whilst maximising our creditor days.
      • Cash - forecasting and managing our cashflow.
      • Fixed Assets - maintain Fixed Asset register and Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals and prepayments
      • Payroll - assist with monthly payroll process, liaising with our People team and third-party payroll providers
    • Assist with the annual audit by implementing any proposed actions or changes
    • Autonomously drive change in our team and across the wider business to improve processes, identify efficiencies and deliver insight
    • Assist with ad-hoc projects as required

    We'd love to see from you

    • You are recently qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (within the last year)
    • 3-5 Years experience within finance, audit and/or accounting
    • You have an understanding of UK GAAP, specifically FRS102.
    • You are a proactive individual who is happy to get involved in anything when required
    • You have industry experience of producing management accounts and reporting
    • You have experience with start-ups and have the ability to adapt to new situations
    • You have a high level of attention to detail coupled with strong interpersonal skills
    • You enjoy reporting, always delivering accurate and engaging content
    • Experience with Xero or similar ERP systems
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
    • You are able to use either Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to a high-standard
    • You love to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
