Business Development Manager - European Midsize Enterprise - French / Italian markets

The Business Development Manager is a sales position responsible for developing and acquiring new clients to Gartner. You will be given ownership for a specific territory targeting prospective clients with business revenue of up to $750 million per annum.

Gartner's European Midsize Enterprise sales channel represents our fastest growing business unit globally and we are looking to hire top sales executives for our French and Italian-speaking teams

What you'll do:


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with newtoGartner organizations
  • Act as a strategic partner with Clevel and senior executives across various organizations within an assigned territory of midsized organizations.
  • Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients (members), leading the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Act as a strategic partner with Clevel and senior executives across various organizations within an assigned territory of midsized organizations.
  • Be aligned to one of Gartner's EMEA markets: French or Italian.
  • Collaborate with other sales associates to continue the development of best practice and new prospecting techniques.

What you'll need:


  • Circa 27 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, seniorlevel B2B sales or similar
  • Native French or Italian speaking skills and fluency in English.
  • A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence and sales acumen.
  • Competitive drive with a collaborative approach. You aspire to be the best and inspires those around you. You challenge yourself by setting goals, crushing them, and helping your teammates do the same.
  • Experience selling IT, staffing/recruiting or professional services solutions highly preferred.
