The Role

Core Deployment - Specialist

Role

  • Serving as primary specialist for all our tools and processes in Core Deployment working with Product Teams, Client Implementation and Support teams to enable the correct delivery and maintenance of Alight's products.
  • DaytoDay selfmanaging of assigned task with proactive manner in follow up and progression to completion of task.
  • Organize and manage your daily activities to achieve completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Help team lead manage deliverables to balance priorities and focus between new development and support of existing items.
  • Identifying and mitigating risk/issues in all our tools and processes.
  • Flag and manage issues and/or risks that impact the delivery plan.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance of Core and Country teams to these approaches and standard working procedures.
  • Drive DevOps practices as well as SNOW incidents.
  • Data Driven.

Technical / Functional Skills:


  • Bachelor or Master's degree with Technical emphasis, or equivalent.
  • Technical knowledge and skills of ABAP debugging and programming is required, at least 2+ years' experience.
  • Experience on Product SDLC Management.
  • Extensive technical knowledge on SAP Transport system (TMS) is required. Experience in Rev-Trac tool is important.
  • Experience and technical knowledge on internal euHReka specifics and tools (Landscape, NameRange, Configuration Extractor) is desirable.
  • Good logical and analytical skills, ability to work independently.
  • Responsible for supporting the team. Quick thinking to find technical solutions to blocking problems, ability to work under pressure (P1 management).
  • Act as a coach and mentor for juniors within the team and provide necessary guidance.
  • Ability to oversight and assess overall impact (helicopter view) for new processes and enhancements.
  • Excellent attention to detail in solution requirement, build, unit test and documentation, to ensure deliver of quality.
  • Focus on making processes and tools as efficient as possible based on experience and data extraction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
