    The Alpega Group is looking for a Sales Operations Manager. This role will be part of the Sales Organization in Alpega, part of our Freight Exchange team. This role will be based in Barcelona, Spain.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Commercial Excellence department is a key function in the Sales organization of Alpega. It identifies best practices, codifies the way we work and ensure we, across positions and regions, work in a consistent manner to deliver the best service to our customers and prospects.

    As we grow this function we are looking for a leader for this crucial department; the Commercial Excellence Manager. Its objective is to help Alpega sales teams become the best sales team they can be

  • Manage a team of two based in our Sant-Cugat office, an experienced Sales Operations Manager focusing on our tools & processes, a Junior Commercial Excellence Business Analyst supporting on tools and in charge of data quality (incl process checks).
  • Set the way we train our team to grow competencies by identifying and prioritizing needs, building and delivering a training schedule throughout the year (with support of stakeholders based on topics).
  • Own the way we work: ensure our processes are up to date, constantly improved and adopted by all. Oversee our contract templates with legal and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the tool we use and how we should develop them with the team member in charge.
  • Support the design and organization of the key sales event (e.g., yearly January SKO).
  • WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

    Must to have:

  • Over 7 years of professional experience in commercial related function with at least 1-2y spent in consulting
  • English and Spanish are required (written and spoken)
  • Ability to commute to Sant-Cugat office to meet stakeholders and teams regularly
  • Education at a master degree level
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong excel skills (ability to create reports, use formulas and pivot-table, analyze data)
  • Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Experience in pricing, contracts, data quality excellence
  • Power BI knowledge or other statistical tool
  • Additional languages (French, Italian, Polish or Dutch)
  • You will be tested in these competences throughout your selection process.
