Postdoctoral

VHIR seek a vacancy/vacant position for a
Postdoctoral within the
Group of Biomedical Research in Gynecology in
order to getting involved in an innovative project to achieve the next step for the accurate diagnosis of endometrial cancer.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- PhD in Biology, or similar sciences degrees
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)
- Experience in proteomics: mass spectrometry, ELISA
- Experience in statistics
- Experience in immunoassay development
- Passionate, proactive, willing to learn and committed
Desired:
- Previous experience in a research group.

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a research group
- Knowledge of proteomics: mass spectrometry, ELISA
- Ability to do statistical analysis
- Experience in immunoassay development

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Identification of protein biomarkers to improve the diagnosis and prognosis of endometrial cancer and
- Development of a prototype based on immunoassay
- Analytical and clinical validation of the developed prototype
- Collaborate with other projects of the group, by promoting fruitful discussions or by helping in experimental work
- Participate in general activities of the group
- Support the principal researcher in managerial activities
