Job Description:

Position Overview


The Analyst, International Development, will support Invenergy's Madrid office in the development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage energy projects throughout Spain.


Responsibilities:


  • Create documents, maps, and presentations and facilitate delivery of the same via scan, fax, file, prepared mailings with special instructions, e.g., FedEx.
  • Make travel arrangements; maintain calendars, complete expense reports, submit purchase orders, process invoices, submit GIS map requests.
  • Assist with identifying development prospects and assist developers in on
- and off-site meetings.

  • Lead the establishement of a data base of projects and developers to support in the development activities.
  • Help establish GIS systems together with the development team.
  • General team and office management duties including mail and maintaining supplies.
  • Follow up on opportunities and set up appointments for business development team.
  • Provide ad hoc project assistance such as competitive research within a region or interfacing with project landowners.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
  • Effective handling of confidential data and sensitive information.

Required Skills:


  • Minimum of 02 years' experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
  • Proficient in all MS Office software especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some experience in GIS software would be valuable.
  • Excellent communication and strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and solve problems.
  • An inquisitive mind that desires to understand how and why complex decisions are made.
  • A genuine desire to resolve multifaceted challenges where economics, legal, policy, engineering, and the environment meet.
  • Professional, team oriented, structured and organized, and able to maintain confidential information.
  • Able to prioritize assignments, multitask, and reprioritize assignments as needed.
  • Strong initiative and focused on process improvement.
  • Desire and aptitude to understand and influence the Energy/Utilities Industry.
