- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline our operations and processes.
- Ensure that deployment and integration processes are carried out with high levels of efficiency, predictability, quality, and security.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions that help detect and resolve infrastructure problems before they affect business services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
- Provide Observability as a service to facilitate Application and Infrastructure functional and technical monitoring and centralized logging.
- Develop automations around public cloud services (mainly AWS) to manage infrastructure, software and operations in the public cloud.
- Production problem solving and coordination with development team to speed up time to recovery (log aggregation, SLAs, E2E monitoring, alerting).
- Code analysis at a quality and Security perspective to allow development teams granting a continuous improvement culture.
- Collaborate with all team members to improve engineering excellence, systems, procedures and data security.
- 3+ years of experience in IT.
- 2+ years of experience in Technical/High availability Solutions/Application Architecture.
- 2+ years of experience in event-oriented architectures working with Kafka.
- Fluent in English and desirable in Spanish.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC), proficient in using infrastructure as code technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate the management and provisioning of infrastructure.
- Scripting and programming skills, ability to write scripts in languages such as Python, Java to automate routine tasks and integrate systems.
- Networking knowledge, understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, and DNS.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools, skilled in continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies using tools like Jenkins, Github Actions.
- Containerization and orchestration, experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration, experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and scripting languages like Shell.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services (EKS, MSK, API Gateway, EC2).
- Monitoring tools, experience in using monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Micrometer.
