Requirements:


Your Role
with other experienced developers on the team, often pair programming.


Even though this role is mostly focused on the backend and infrastructure, we emphasize the ability to work across the stack.

So you will also feel at home in the front-end


About you

  • Know what solid design principles are and can drive clean solutions in a collaborative way.
  • Enjoy working from an office in a highly collaborative team that is often pair programming.
  • Have deployed and maintained a production environment in a cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Enjoy working with REST services, SQL, and infrastructure.
  • Have experience with continuous integration and deployment.
  • Have experience with backend testing. Unittesting, integrationtesting, and endtoend testing. You know when it is appropriate to use either, and to what
- extent.


We also value knowledge within:

  • Agile processes.
  • ML/AI/Bioinformatics, because you will be working with it

Your Team


You'll be part of a cross-functional and international team with expertise in software engineering, user experience, artificial intelligence, and product development.

The current team consists of Roger, Valentina, and Arturo. And the UX/Designers, Marta, Andrés, and Tin. Read more about each of them here.

The team works self-managed, where the pragmatic approach and user value win the day. We value well-tested, clean code and good software craftsmanship. We are highly
collaborative across offices and teams, so it's important to be good at teaching, learning, and exchanging ideas.

As the team (and the company) is distributed between two locations, we have occasional company gatherings and team code camps.

So you will be required to travel every now and then.
