Job Description:


The Team Lead will lead the assigned Credit team within the overall Finance EMEA Credit organization that is part of the Finance Shared Service center located in Asturias.

The role will report to the EMEA Credit Manager.

This position will be a mix role for operational credit tasks and credit supervisory tasks.

As a team lead your major responsibilities will be the following:
Coaching and supervision of your assigned EMEA Credit Analysts:

  • Responsible for employment processes, such as coordinating the hiring process for new or replacement positions in collaboration with the EMEA Credit manager.
  • Follow up for the assigned team performance vs. agreed objectives while providing coaching and define career development of the individual team members in collaboration with the EMEA Credit manager.
  • Ensure adequate resources allocation, staff teams according to skills and knowledge required. Support EMEA Credit Manager in strategic workforce planning exercise and succession planning.
  • To provide guidance and functional expertise and to lead and solve complex functional matters with the team.
  • Lead the team identification of best practices, procedures and continues process improvement.
  • Develops and drive knowledge.
  • Participate in projects impacting Credit team.
  • Work closely with Credit operations specialist and Reporting team in order to ensure Month end deadlines are meet with special attention to detail and reporting quality.
  • Kronos control
  • Access requests ( IT, ARIBA, DOA, Banking.)
Business partnering- Build trusting and collaborative relationship with Sales Manager and other stake holders- Understand competitive dynamics to identify key opportunities and threats- Ensures effective communication towards business and Credit management

Key resource for Credit Toolkit- Know your customer / Credit investigation / risk assessment- International banking- Documentary credit (letter of credit etc.)- Collateral- Country risk- Credit policy


Credit related task:

  • Credit & Collection
  • Financial data & risk analysis, Collection, Account monitoring, Project
  • Management, Reporting, Order release.
  • Credit related internal control process

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Credit/Business Finance.
  • Degree in Business Administration or Economics.
  • International company experience with strong knowledge of Credit Policies and Toolkit.
  • Understanding of International Banking, Business, and Credit Law.
  • Proficiency in Know Your Customer, Credit investigation, risk assessment, and Documentary credit.
  • Experience in Project Management, Accounting, and proficiency in SAP, Business Warehouse, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problemsolving skills, and compliance focus.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, an adaptable mindset, and excels in analytical thinking, with a proven ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a composed and efficient approach.

Language:

English Business Proficiency (verbal and written).

Spanish; additional European languages a plus.
