    ICC is dedicated to the SDGs, making SDG-5 (Gender Equality) and SDG-10(Reduce Inequalities) the organization information:UNICC seeking a Windows and Systems Administrator to join our Platform Operations team.

    The primarypurpose of this position is to operate, maintain and troubleshoot systems, services, configurations, andcore applications deployed within the Infrastructure and Platform Operations Unit - OPBO.Responsibilities include participating in planning and development of new features; proactivemanagement of the environments as well as the forecasting of capacity needs; assisting with thedeployment of new applications and services; working with other teams and play a key role in optimizingservices.


    Required Profile:
    Systems Administrator with have excellent communication skills who will work directly with costumersand other technical teams across the organization.

    Strong technical understanding of information systemsto address issues that arise across the organization, investigate problems, interact with vendors, and serveas technical expert.

    The position has a 24×7 support requirement, so the incumbent must be willing, able,and available to participate in a regular on-call rotation, work a flexible schedule, and respond to out-ofband emergencies when the need arises.


    Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:

    • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows systems within an enterprise-server environment
    • Maintain best practices and procedures for patch management, virus management, andoperating systems upgrades.

    REQUEST FOR PROPOSALTERMS OF REFERENCE

    • Active Directory Management, including managing and troubleshooting GPO's, DNS, and DHCP.
    • Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot system errors and client system issues.
    • Define and implement security best practices and hardening of the Windows Server OS andrelated technologies.
    • Build and manage Windows failover clusters.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Perform other duties as required

    Required Technical Skills:
    The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

    • Minimum 6 years' experience with Windows Server administration in large environments
    • Microsoft Server Administration
    PowerShell ScriptingThe resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:

    • Knowledge of a configuration management solution such as SCCM
    • Knowledge of monitoring tool such as SCOM
    • Good understanding of Directory Services components, such as Active Directory, GPO, FSMOroles, DNS and DHCP
    • Provide Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Fulfillment support

    Required Soft Skills:

    • Have a deep problem-solving background with accompanying troubleshooting skills.
    • Be able to work independently as well as collectively within a team.
    • Be able to apply critical thinking techniques.
    • Be able to effectively communicate with customers and other team members, both orally and inwriting.
    • Be able to quickly adapt to new situations and a willingness to learn new technologies

    Desirable certifications:

    • Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCP are an advantage
