In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Supporting the Strategic Accounts and Domestic Projects in the region.
  • Provide technical support within your expertise to the Engineering team for all projects within the region.
  • Create and design solutions for common needs across customers and projects.
  • Work together with a selected group of Suppliers and drive efforts of standardization and effectiveness across the Projects in Europe.
  • Show ownership in the technical proposals and lead the assigned Technical Meetings for the Project.
  • Analyze and understand customer requirements and specifications in order to create and review Technical Submittals.
  • Provide support through the lifecycle of the projects and assist in solving issues or creation of Root Cause Analysis.

  • Keep track of the technical challenges and opportunities by capturing the information of all relevant Stakeholders in Lessons Learned.
  • Supporting the projects onsite with Technical Expertise during the execution and commissioning.
  • Champion Safety and Serviceability in your designs and solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to come to the best technical/commercial solution where different expertise's are required.
  • Ensure competitiveness of the proposals and technical designs and work with the various Stakeholders to provide the best solution.
  • Working with team members across the region and participate in cross functional team meetings and workshops.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent bachelor's degree in engineeringor appropriate STEM field is required. (Mechanical or Electromechanics preferred)
  • Postgraduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.

Experience

  • Prior Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools, CAD (mechanical) is required. Creo2, Inventor desired.
