We are looking for a strategic leader to take on the role as a Learning & Development Manager based in our Barcelona Office to join our dinamic HR team for Spain & Portugal.


Job Description:


As a Learning and Development Manager you are responsible of the implementation of the regional L&D strategy for the local market and lead and support the implementation of our approach including philosophy, vision and goals, in line with our business plan.

Always with the customer in mind, you drive and support implementation of L&D best practices, tools, and processes in your market.


You have an overview of current and future competence needs, key role readiness and diverse representation for all business areas in your market and you act on them by recommending and providing adequate solutions.


Key responsibilities include:


You will be responsible for implementing the Learning & Development strategy and you will cooperate cross-functionally on the upskilling program within the market to develop the best Colleagues Learning Experience across the region.

  • Coaching developing and supporting Area HRs, HR Department and Country Management teams to improve and secure the learning & development needs on a local level.

L&D vision, processes, and tools

  • Together with the HR Manager and Regional L&D Manager, you promote the vision, purpose, and strategy of L&D towards your market.
  • You participate in the definition of L&D strategies together with the Talent Manager and you implement learning strategies and programs to address local business needs.
  • You guide local efforts in providing a learning infrastructure, including tech. Platforms and enablers for formal, informal and on the job learning.
  • You ensure relevant, readily available training content and coordinate its adaption to local context.
  • Together with the Regional HR team you manage local L&D related communication and channels, serve as the primary contact and promote the purpose and vision of L&D by sharing success stories and best practices to create sustainable Engagement.

In order to be successful in the role we believe you have:

  • At least 5 years of previous experience in leadership roles.
  • Experience in managing projects crossfunctionally.
  • A university degree in Management, Business, Human Resources, Pedagogy, Psychology or People Development is a plus.
  • Great inspirational communication skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English & Spanish essential and Portuguese will be a plus.
  • Analytical skills and good knowledge of Excel and data interpreting.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, SharePoint.
