We are currently seeking a

Project Procurement Engineer, to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain, to lead the purchasing activities for national clients.

The main responsibilities will be:

Ensures that the Project policies, procedures, and schedules are aligned to the Procurement Department activities.
Supervises and harmonizes the activities of the Expediter Coordinator and all buyers working on the Project.
Defines with the Procurement Manager the policy to be followed for spare parts procurement and the conditions under which vendors will provide field supervision
Manages the Procurement team assigned on permanent basis to the Project Task Force, if applicable.
Makes sure that Buyers selects Vendors in accordance with the Project Vendor List.
Follows all the phases related to the call for bids.
Recommends a payment policy with the aim of avoiding a negative cashflow balance.
