Plant Manager main responsibilities: -Overseeing the daily operations (manufacturing, maintenance, quality and continuous improvement). -Elaborate budgets and annual plans, which will be approved by the Steering Committee. -Define the roles and objectives of all staff under his/her responsibility. -Daily control of the plant operations in order to establish proper coordination among all departments. Ensure Operational and financial goals. -Ensure strict compliance with the General Maintenance procedure. -Ensure control over planning and procurement. -Coordinate logistics and warehouse department, as well as Health and Safety -Report monthly to the Management Committee on results vs budget. -All deviations must be analyzed and accompanied by a plan for improvement in the short term, with a schedule of dates and responsible. -In close collaboration with the Quality Manager and Team Managers, will: -Develop a specific plan to control and improve the entire production start-up process, times and quality assurances. Analysis of non-quality monthly results. -Legal and P&L responsibility. Attention for the business and the commercial relations. -General Plant Manager - General Plant Manager The candidate selected as a Plant Manager might fit the following requirements: - Industrial Engineer (Mechanics). MBA or Supply chain management Degree will be an asset. - Fluent in Spanish, Catalan & English. Other languages will be an asset. - Minimum 10 years experience in management of productive plants mainly in plastic transformation sector. Used to management tools for planning, ERP, Excel. - Understanding of financial (P&L responsibility) and cost minded. Competences: -Strong leader and team-player. People manager. -Hands-on and results oriented -Assumes responsibility and makes easily but considered decisions -Reliable and trustworthy -Extensive knowledge of manufacturing with attention for the business -Project Management skills.

Specific accountabilities for the Plant Manager are: -Production P&L with strong focus on lowest possible transformation costs and manufacturing result. -Realization of saving projects according to trackers. -Production KPI's. -Service level. -Keep working capital under control. -Realization of CAPEX projects on time and within budgeted amounts. -Successful re -audits for all implemented management systems according ISO and specific standards. -Ensure perfect execution of key identified strategic projects. -Consolidated company - The plant manager is the number one of the site -Engineer or equivalent by experience. -Fluent English. -Minimum of 10 years in industrial environment is required, minimum 5 years at management level. -Knowledge of local and regional legislation related to industrial relations and environmental matters as well as labor law understanding. -Proven track record in terms of negotiations with unions. -Excellent business understanding in terms of product, customer & controlling as well as for supply chain. -People management experience. -Technical knowledge of all areas of factory operations, typical process machinery, factory services and contract management. -Able to develop long term vision and to lead and inspire teams. -Good people skills. -Result oriented in the right balance with EHS, quality and service level. -Demonstrated leadership ability to energize, develop, and built rapport at all levels within an organization. -Inclusive leadership style with a focus on personal involvement, trust and flexibility. -Able to present in front of large groups, deal with ambiguity and demonstrate composure in stressful situations where competing priorities must be managed.
