The main responsibilities will be: Monitoring Customer accounts and transitory bank accounts. Open items maintenance. Allocation and control of incoming / outgoing payments to customer, vendor or general ledger account. Management of financial dispute cases via communication with internal and external customers. Dunning activities. We are looking for a candidate with: Excellent level in English. A good knowledge of another language is also mandatory (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Turkish or Greek). Studies in Economics or Business Administration or minimum two years experience in Accounting is required. Knowledge in SAP is valuable. Advanced Excel user. Good communication skills to deal with costumers, as this position has high level of interactions. High flexibility and proactivity. Good organization skills and ability to prioritize.The suitable candidate must be able to work in the afternoon shift (15-23h). Reporting to the Merchants Payments Manager, the Merchant payment specialist is responsible for working close with the finance and partner management team to ensure that our merchants are paid accurately and on time and also that all questions or concerns raised by the merchants are addressed timely and accurately. The role also involves analysing large volumes of data output from our systems to determine what is to be paid to our merchants and then processing the payments. Core Responsibilities: - Perform EMEA & APAC bank reconciliations - Perform Weekly EMEA & APAC Merchant Payment reconciliations - Manipulate large volumes of system generated data in excel to prepare the information for payment and invoicing - Update our individual merchant records to ensure that all payments are tracked accurately - Work with EMEA and APAC merchants and support Partner Management team to answer queries from merchants regarding payments through Zendesk queues - Support central Accounting team - Assist in any ad hoc project Requirements: - Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Science or related area; - Experience from e-commerce, advertising, marketing, media industry would be highly differential; - Experience with multinational and matrix organisations would be an asset; - Proven experience in achieving and over exceeding onset targets; - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; - Ability to communicate and deal with people at all levels in the organisation; - Great attitude; - Team player with ability to take ownership; - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines; - Impeccable attention to detail is a must; - High English level; - Second language (FR, DE) would be an asset; - Intermediate or advanced Excel skills; - Highly self-motivated - enjoys working hard and looks for challenges; has ability to act and react as necessary, even if limited information is available;
