Working alongside the International Pricing Managers, the International Pricing Analyst will be part of the Central Pricing team with tasks in supporting the overseas pricing departments in setting their rates as profitable as possible given specific market conditions.

Main duties

-Build up knowledge of the UK and the international markets, and the different stages of the overseas operations;
-Learning the different rating structures, systems, data, constraints and regulations in the 5 markets Admiral operates in;
-Provide assistance in amending rates in the UK and overseas operations;
-Complete analyses on rate tables requested and provide suggestions and recommendations on future rating patterns for the rate table concerned;
-Share cross-countries knowledge and best practices across the pricing departments;
-Where appropriate, suggest new variables or new rate tables that can be used to improve the rating structures;
-Investigate on external databases to gather new potential rating factors;
-Carry out ad-hoc analysis and investigations into various issues that may be affecting the Pricing process;
-When required, support the UK pricing department in day-to-day operations and specific projects/analyses;
-To complete any further work as delegated from the International Pricing Manager.

Requirements

-Strong analytical and quantitative/mathematical skills;
-A degree in an analytical field from a leading university (Math, Engineering, Statistics, ...);
-Full proficiency in English and at least one of: Italian/Spanish/French;
-A good team player, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships;
-Willing to relocate to Cardiff for 12/18 months and then ideally relocate back to the country of origin;
-Hungry to learn, innovate and evolve... and to have fun in the process!
-UK work permit;
