In order to write my final thesis, I collaborated with the agricultural institute of Azad University
to obtain access to precise information regarding the industrial packaging process, as well as
relevant research articles about recent artificial polymers used in food packaging. My main
thesis focus was on identifying the harmless polymers to use in everyday meals, as well as
taking further steps to improve active sensors on vegetable packaging. In addition, I considered the most recent inquiry into heating packages used in China, which are based on chemical reactions for producing hot food or generating hot drinks in a minor amount of time.
2017-Manufacturing Internship at Pak Dairy Group;
During my Bachelor's degree, I spent at least three months on an academic Internship training
project in the industrial area at the laboratory of the PAK Milk Factory in Tehran, Iran. Controlling and testing raw milk to validate the milk for the rest of the process, such as producing yogurt, dough, cream, ice cream, drink yogurt, etc, were among the things I learned directly. Because of my great experimental skills obtained during the Milk and Dairy Product Technology Operation lesson, I was able to perform essential operations on raw milk according to the laboratory agenda. I had an opportunity to directly observe the production lines, which was a massive procedure, and found an excellent vision regarding the control of expiration dates, which is the most critical aspect to consider for evaluating items.


2016-Award Basketball Coaching Certification (Extended in 2020-2023)
2017-2018 Basketball Coaching in Atieh High school.
While back time I had the chance to train and practice with a team of teenage ladies I was
coaching in order to get them prepared for the regional competition in Tehran, Iran. With their
dedication and my support, they were able to take home the silver cup.


2019- Phedra Pharmacy Internship; Working at Phedra Pharmacy right before the pandemic gave me different perspectives and several fascinating experiences.
That might have the potential to lead me to a brighter potential profession for me in the area of pharmaceutical therapy. As part of the precise prescription, I have been taught to visit with referred patients and acquire their biographical details. I gained a plethora of information and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, which is related to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, during back that time.
 

2020-2021 Master Degree in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology;
(Nanobiotechnology) at Universitat Autònoma De Barcelona. Since my degree was linked to Nanobiotechnology, I was able to select a variety of subjects that was directly connected to my background and personal interests. For instance, some of these areas are; Material Characterization Techniques, Nanotechnology for Diagnostics, Nanotechnology for Treatment, and Remediation, Simulation Techniques, Local Probe Microscopic, Intellectual Property, and Technological Transfers, and an extra pre-course in Nanofabrication. 
 

2021-TFM; Vertical Flow Assay for the Rapid Detection of Exosomes by Enzyme Biomarkers
in Clinical Diagnosis.My Master Thesis project was focused on the Clinical Rapid Diagnosis Test which is called Vertical Flow Assay to Detect Breast Cancer cell-derived from Exosomes by using intrinsic enzyme activities as Biomarkers. Meanwhile, I was able to interact with my supervisor and co-supervisor of the Sensor and Biosensor Group in order to publish the significant results of our investigation at conferences.

With greetings to whom it may concern, 

My name is Zahra Gholami, and I hold a Master degree in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with specialty in "Nanobiotechnology." In  2019 I completed my Bachelor degree in Food Industry Engineering which focused on " Food Science and Technology".

I'm writing to express my sincere desire to participate as an eligible candidate and take advantage of the job opportunity. My enthusiasm and skills also urge me to submit my application for the relevant nanomedicine projects. Certainly, if I gain this opportunity, I will prove my abilities throughout the project considering my academic performance and keen interest during the research program. 

First and foremost, I'd like to introduce myself as an active and responsible person with extensive laboratory experience and strong motivation in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by using beneficial Nanotechnology techniques which is my academic background. During my bachelor degree as an Industrial Food Engineer, I gained experience in Microbiology and Chemistry, which included both theoretical and practical subjects. For instance, Organic-Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, high-level Food Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology Techniques, Quality Control, Fermentation Techniques, and Nutrition Therapy. 

During the last year of my Bachelor degree, I worked as an intern at PAK Milk factory laboratory in Tehran-Iran for at least three months. It was an amazing experience and my first personal project in an industrial area.In fact, in order to receive the appropriate grade, I was able to write a report and summarize all of my accomplishments. Controlling and testing raw milk in order to validate products for the rest of the process , such as making yogurt, dough, cream, ice cream, and drink yogurt, were among the things I learned firsthand. Aside from the milk factory, I was also allowed to visit the 202 Meat Product line during my Meat Processing Technology field in order to prepare my presentation under Professor Shadi Mehdikhani's supervision. I was extensively involved in many aspects of university life during my studies. The role requires responsibility, diligence, and independent managerial abilities. Because of my chemistry background, I'm able to manage a thorough analysis and perform precise detection.

Furthermore, during my Master program in Barcelona, I received excellent feedback. Since the course was based on Nanobiotechnology, I was able to accomplish terrific subjects that were directly linked to my background and personal interest. Material Characterization Techniques, Nanotechnology for Diagnostics, Nanotechnology for Treatment and Remediation, Simulation Techniques, Local Probe Microscopic, Intellectual Property, and Technological Transfers, and an extra pre-course in Nanofabrication are just a few of the fascinating areas linked to my knowledge. Immunotherapy, Immunoassays, Cell Culturing, Tissue regeneration, Stem Cell Culturing on Nanoscaffold, Nanofabrication techniques, ELISA, PCR, NMR, Spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction, Optical Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope, Atomic Force Microscope, Scanning Tunneling Microscope, are among the approaches and types of equipment that I have worked with.

I completed my Master Thesis in the Sensor & Biosensor Group at the Chemistry Department in the science faculty of UAB campus. Also, my research thesis was focused on Clinical Rapid Diagnostic Tests to Detect Breast Cancer Cells Derived from Exosomes. It was a delightful research project regarding cancer diagnostics; I had the opportunity to collaborate with young scientific researchers, and as a consequence of our efforts, we were able to present our results at a congress, which was an incredible experience, and made me able to develop good skills in research results and scientific contexts such as workshops, and conferences as is obvious from my documentation.

Recently, I had a chance to join the Pediatric and Neurology group research of Edifici Mediterrània Institute at Hospital Vall d'Hebron as an initial investigator. I gained knowledge about the various types of Dystonia movement disorders and genetic causation throughout this wonderful term.Furthermore, I was able to carry out comprehensive research on genetic abnormality by using the patient's blood and serum sample. Additionally, the methods I deal with include Vertical Western Blot and DNA Extraction from Blood Samples in order to perform PCR assays.

I have a firm belief in the role of science to produce biosensors for a variety of industrial purposes and uphold principles to bring early detection of quality and control the shelf life of the product for the public, which needs large investments with the right skill set to meet this demand.

This program will allow me to achieve my ambition of becoming a creative and innovative technologist with a strong sense of public responsibility and a desire to help others.
