Youssef Soliman Selim

I am currently a student at Skema Business School, Paris, studying MSc in Financial Markets & Investments. Where I am specializing in Investment Banking. Beforehand, I was working for aggregate of 6 years as Senior Analyst in the department of Debt & Structured finance at the National Bank of Egypt. This job entailed providing financial advisory services in the DCM, which includes but not limited to financial advice in bond offerings, Islamic sukuks, and export finance transactions and syndicated loans.

Education wise, I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration and international trade majoring in Finance from Misr International University in Cairo. Also, I hold a professional certificate of corporate banking credit from the American University in Cairo and a Professional Diploma in Private Equity from the American University in Cairo. During my undergraduate studies, I engaged in many extracurricular activities such as, AIESEC and Model United Nations. 

I have demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Currently I am working extensively on building up skills in VBA, Python and R and SQL. I know how to use Bloomberg and have acquired the Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate & Bloomberg ESG Certificate. Furthermore, I am currently a CFA level 1 candidate, and I am willing to continue until I obtain the license.
