Hi! I'm Sara,

I graduated in fashion design at LCI Barcelona University, soon thereafter I took a master's degree in digital design at Tecno- creativa in Madrid.

My career took off in one of LOEWE's workshops as a produc- tion assistant, where I learned the importance of "the detail" and the right way to work.

Afterwards, I moved as head of design for a young Catalan brand called KUURTH, focused on a unisex and European public where I gained experience in travel and negotiating.

Currently I am working in a design studio for an Indian supplier in the heart of Barcelona designing basic and elevated collections for recognized fast fashion brands such as: Zara(basic), H&M (South Hub-Stockholm), BSK, C&A, Mango (general), Free people or &Other stories among others.

Fashion designer for VAMANI OVERSEAS, Barcelona (May 2023- Present)

Working as fashion designer for the following accounts: ZARA (Basic, girls & kids), MANGO (General), BSK, H&M (Hub South-Estocolm), C&A, URBAN OUTFITTERS, &other stories, OYSHO, TESCO, & KIABI. Research and identify trend directions, analyze collec- tions and key items. Execution and approval of physical samples and realization of shoppings to achieve successful collections. Creation of cad's proposals, technical sheets, and pass comments/follow up to India. Working closely with customers in meetings to understand their needs and carry out the development of the collection. Finally, I take care of the production of physical samples and ensure that they are properly presented.

Head of design for KUURTH brand, Barcelona (June 2022- May 2023)

Working for KUURTH brand, in charge of Menswear and jewelry collection.
Approach to collections, contact, visit and negociation with suppliers for prototyping (Asia, Turkey, Portugal, Spain & China); realization of technical sheets as well as specifications and rectification of prototypes in fittings; color analysis, approach to collection ranges and selection of fabrics (both flat and circular). Leading projects ensuring that the Top product DNA is present in each garment.

Production assistant Rafael Pells Company SL (November 2020-July 2021)

Working for LOEWE in one of its production workshops.
Interpretation of the customer technical sheets, placement of patterns on the fabric and leather, review prior to quality control, monitoring of clothing, painting and leather burning processes among others to enseure a luxury garment.

Stylist and coordinator for Salma’s Events (December 2017- September 2022)

Organization of events and fashion runways.
Casting of models together with the agency, supervision of the fittings and choosing/co-or-

dinating outfits for models. Direction and organization of the starting order of the fashion shows.
