My 10+ years as a tour guide, hotel receptionist and hostel manager equipped me with strong customer relations, operations management, and decision-making skills. Often, I relied on data to optimize processes and enhance outcomes—a practice that sparked my fascination with analytics.

This passion led me to transition into the exciting world of data analytics, where I now thrive by combining analytical thinking with creativity.

Today, I’m skilled in Tableau, SQL, and Excel, leveraging these tools to analyze trends, craft impactful visualizations, and tell compelling stories with data. I’m proud to hold the Google Data Analytics Certificate, a testament to my dedication to continuous learning and growth. Additionally, I’m actively learning Python to expand my technical toolkit and working towards earning the Google Advanced Data Analytics Certificate, further solidifying my expertise in the field.

My roles included being a tour guide, hotel receptionist, and hostel manager. I often relied on data to optimize processes and enhance guest experiences, which ignited my passion for analytics.

In my role as Hostel Manager at Sungate One Hostel, I managed daily operations, improved guest experiences through data-driven insights on occupancy, booking trends, and customer behavior, and used financial data to manage budgets and costs. I also focused on team performance optimization using productivity data.

Transitioning into data analytics, I am now proficient in Tableau, SQL, and Excel, using these tools to analyze trends, create visualizations, and tell compelling data stories. I hold a Google Data Analytics Certificate and am currently learning Python, working towards the Google Advanced Data Analytics Certificate.

My most relevant academic background includes a self-taught focus on data analytics, with an emphasis on mastering key tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau. I completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate and am currently pursuing the Google Advanced Data Analytics Certificate.

One of my key projects is the Cyclistic bike-share customer analysis, where I used SQL for data preparation and Tableau for visualization. Through this analysis, I identified key patterns in user behavior, such as casual riders preferring weekends and longer trips, while annual members tend to ride more frequently during weekdays. Based on these findings, I developed recommendations for seasonal promotions and strategies to convert casual riders into annual members, aiming to boost profitability.

My education has been supplemented with hands-on projects, such as building dashboards in Tableau and performing SQL database analysis. Additionally, I have balanced my learning journey with personal responsibilities, which has strengthened my skills in organization, time management, and continuous professional growth. I am currently learning Python to further expand my technical skills.
