Paolo Crosetto

I am a passionate software engineer, curious about technology, high performance computing, and science. My background is in computer science, mathematics, and physics.

I worked on the implementation of HPC solutions in industrial contexts, using supercomputers and cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.

I have extensive experience in C++/Python software development on Linux and Windows, in multi-threaded and distributed applications.

I have 10+ years experience in writing code for heterogeneous hardware such as GPUs in CUDA/HiP.

I obtained a PhD at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, in computational science engineering. Main topics were: C++, MPI, multi-threading, CFD, HPC, mesh generation, Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), numerical linear algebra.
