Oscar Fernandez Cerezo

I am an aircraft engineering master's student at UWS in the Glasgow area, and I'll be graduating in July 2023. I am available for employment. I take great pride in being an upright person who upholds high standards of conduct at work, pays close attention to detail, and is constantly looking for the best solutions to any issues encountered.

In 2018, I volunteered at an IRONMAN race and assisted the athletes; my stand was recognised as the most helpful in the competition. I completed an internship as an online marketing intern with PIA media in Munich in 2019; I was supposed to complete an internship with Bright Network in 2021, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it had to be completed online, this internshi was based on networking with engineering professionals and in September 2021, while finishing my final year of college, I began working at my local bingo hall.

After completing a wide range of courses I obtained substantial expertise in the Aircraft engineering field by comleting the following modules: Advanced mathematics, Advanced Mechanics,  Advanced Dynamics, Aerodynamics, Aircraft structure Analysis,  CAD, CFD, FEA, Thermodynamics, and Thermofluids.

For my dissertation, I designed a UAV airship that could carry UAV surveillance drones due to the volcanic Eruption at the time in  the island of La Palma. These drones would be equipped with various types of cameras to be able to identify persons under debries for example  and other to be able to collect other data that the user would need.

Considering that I placed in the top 10% of my class for the last academic course for of the bachelor's degree. I was gifted two openings . 
The first one being an opportunity to attend an excluisve  Boeing Innovation Forum.

The second opening  was the possibility to enrol in an MEng Aircraft Engineering programme to continue my university education.

I am taking a number of courses in this Masters programme, including Advanced Fluid Mechanics and CFD, Advanced FEA, and Aeroelasticity.In addition, I'm working on a group dissertation on how to build a UAV quadcopter. in order to disinfect any desired area in consideration of the COVID-19 epidemic.

Our group consist of 6 students while working on this dissertation. I am mostly contributing in the structural aspect, and the electronics part  of the project, which required me to conduct preliminary research on the many types of quadcopter drones and their structural layout. When it was finished, I had to work with my teammates and employ my engineering knowledge to structurally design the best drone for the job. This process required manual calculations, FEA testing, and cooperation with the other groups in my group.
