Marina Torio

Graduate in International Trade from the University of León with a double degree in International Business and Company Management from SeAMK University (Finland), currently pursuing the EFMD-accredited European Master in Business Studies (EMBS), an international programme focused on global management, marketing and supply chains. 

My academic path combines quantitative analysis with practical experience in import coordination between Asian suppliers and European markets. Through applied projects and real company collaborations, I have developed skills in logistics operations, market analysis and data-informed decision-making. 

International experiences across Finland, Italy, Germany, France and Spain have strengthened my ability to work in multicultural environments and approach business challenges from a global perspective. 

I am interested in international supply chain and operations roles where analytical thinking and cross-cultural collaboration can support efficient and responsible business practices.

I gained hands-on experience in international logistics while working in the import department of Confecciones Mayton S.L., where I coordinated shipments from suppliers in China and India to the European market. My responsibilities included supplier communication, shipment tracking, and customs clearance for certified products, managing around 30 monthly imports. This role strengthened my understanding of international trade procedures, supply chain coordination, and the importance of clear communication to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade from the University of León, complemented by a double qualification in International Business and Company Management obtained during an Erasmus exchange at SeAMK University in Finland. I am currently pursuing the European Master in Business Studies (EMBS), an EFMD-accredited international programme delivered across several European universities. The programme focuses on global management, strategy and supply chain operations in international environments, combining academic coursework with applied projects and company collaborations. Through this experience, I have developed analytical, cross-cultural and problem-solving skills in multinational teams.
