MAQBOOL AHMAD

I am a master student in Marine biotechnology with a specialization in algae biotechnology at European university for smart urban coastal sustainability. 

I love working with microorganisms and play with them using biotechnological tools. 

I was intern at different institutions working in life sciences sector for example Molecular markers applications lab, Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research, Catholic university of Valencia and Viride GmbH. My work is mostly centered around topic of life sciences such monitoring the invasive species of fungi, checking the affects of novel hydrolysates on growth performance and digestibility of seabream guilthead and checking the growth kinetics of microaglgae in a photobioreactor.  

I have been part of different voluntary works and NGOs which are working in the sector of environmental protection and sustainability. Examples include MAALI, EU-CONEXUS etc
