Business Development Manager

• Responsible for land acquisition strategy and execution for utility-scale solar developments.
• Established and maintains a network of 20+ land agents, 50+ landowners, and 5 investment funds.
• Liaises with developers, investors, and utilities to drive partnerships and secure project financing.
• Oversees and coordinates interconnection activities for the U.S. branch to ensure grid compliance and efficiency.
• Maintains strong industry relationships and up-to-date knowledge of market drivers, trends, and competitive dynamics to inform proactive development strategies.
• Directs and supervises the on-shift Operations team in daily activities and responsibilities.
• Leads and conducts due diligence on development-stage projects and portfolio acquisitions, assessing opportunities based on siting, permitting, interconnection, and power-marketing metrics.
• Coordinates and contributes to project interconnection requests, load-flow and congestion studies, and transmission planning.
• Leads or supports the negotiation and diligence of critical project contracts including PPAs, EPC, and equipment supply agreements.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Storage, and Finance teams to optimize project siting, technical design, and economic outcomes.

Land Acquisition Specialist

• Responsible for land acquisition strategy and execution for large-scale solar developments.
• Managed 8 active solar projects across Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas, currently in the FIS phase.
• Secured utility-scale sites of 200+ MW capacity covering 300+ acres per project.
• Established and maintains a strong professional network of 20+ land agents and 50+ landowners.
• Liaises with 5 investment funds and multiple solar developers to drive project financing and partnerships.
• Oversees and coordinates all interconnection activities for the U.S. branch to ensure grid compliance and efficiency.
• Ensures timely project milestones by managing contracts, negotiations, and regulatory processes.

English as a Second Language Teacher
