Laura Lopez Giese

As a college tennis athlete, I am a confident, adaptable team player who works well under pressure to meet deadlines and quick turnarounds. Skillful at identifying new opportunities and providing innovative marketing solutions to increase product awareness. Possess language fluency in German, Spanish, English, and Catalan. 

In 2021, I interned at Porsche, where I gained valuable insights into the sports marketing field. I performed on Porsche’s branding strategy at sports events, specifically tennis and golf. The biggest project was sponsoring the Western & Southern Open tennis tournament in Cincinnati, OH, which hosted more than 200,000 fans. Assisted with developing event strategies and tactical plans to promote the accomplishment of marketing goals.

In 2022, I volunteered at an ATP event in Hamburg, where I assisted in tournament coordination and planning to guarantee the welfare of professional tennis players.

I have been an athlete my entire life and dedicate over 30 hours per week to training and traveling. I understand the values of commitment, dedication, and effort to accomplish goals. 

• I am pursuing a Master's Degree in Sports Administration at Boston College, ending in May 2023. 
• I completed my Bachelor's Degree at Boston College with a major in Marketing and Management & Leadership.
