My name is Jose Godoy, I am 29 years old and I am of Spanish origin. I am writing to you to convey my interest in working in your company.
I am currently living in Cordoba and I intend to obtain confirmation from EDK to work as an English teacher in a Kindergarten and also in first and second grade.
I have a degree in Primary Education and I also have a vocational qualification in Physical Education. I have also completed several courses related to teaching.
In addition to my experience in the field of education, which you will see reflected in my CV, I would like to add that I spent a year studying in Poland in my speciality. This year helped me to acquire a lot of knowledge and learning that I didn't have before.
After this great year, I have been working in Dublin (Ireland) for more than a year. I worked for a while as an Early Years educator in a Montessori school. The experience has been amazing and very enriching, but I would not want to stop my career here. I would like to continue to grow personally and professionally, to learn new techniques and teaching methods, to get to know new cultures, traditions and ways of understanding life.
We all know that the first years of a human being's life are fundamental for the future development of skills, and therefore the infant stage should and needs to be stimulated in all senses, therefore, I believe that the person who is dedicated to generating this learning has to be a person with motivation, with a desire to learn and to know. Memories fade with time and lessons are forgotten, but experiences shape human beings and leave a lasting impression. Teachers have that privilege, the privilege of guiding early experiences and discoveries. As Benjamin Franklin said ¨Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Engage with me and I will learn.
