• Validation Technical Writer Grifols
  Involved in a role as a validation technical writer at the pharmaceutical company 'Grifols', based in Dublin. Worked under contracting company 'Innopharma'.
  Tasks included writing and reviewing validation based documents (e.g. IOQs, CVs, process validation) while ensuring GMP and GDP is being applied.
  Managed a small team of technical writers/validation personnel to produce documents required for FDA submission (pre-audit).
• Academic Notetaker (LDAG)
  Here I worked for a student in need of academic help due to their physical disability. The student's lectures were made available to me (either online or at a lecture theatre) and I took notes throughout the duration of the lecture. Afterwards, I sent them onto the student.
  I am glad I was given the opportunity to provide aid for my student with their course and believe this job is very impactful.
• Administrative Support (Medical Clinic)
  Working in a Medical Practice as a scanner was an eye opener for me when it came to seeing how a professional group of people worked together in a well structured, organized environment. My job was to scan written documents such as prescriptions, ECG Reports and medical reports and upload them onto the software being used in the practice so that they can be readily accessed by the medical staff. As well as this, I kept account of the money coming in and out of the practice on a regular basis.
  I got to see professional doctors pull their weight and overcome problematic situations that would come up on a daily basis, such as medical emergencies and giving well thought out medical advice for each patient. 
  This experience solidified my perspective of what a professional environment may look like and gave me an understanding of what is to be expected by every member of a team.

Final Year Dissertation

• Machined Learned Optimization of Gas Turbine Combustion.
• Project funded by Siemens and based on the research of combustion reactions inside gas turbines. Heavily based on programming in python. Data collection, data analysis and machine learning were carried out during the project.
• Drafted Technical Reports, carried out testing using UV, NMR and IR Spectroscopy, and correct handling of dangerous chemical materials within an educational laboratory environment.
