Experiencia
With extensive experience in education, research, and program coordination, I have served as a Student Coordinator and Lecturer in Mindfulness Programs at the Instituto Cultural Europeo (2022-2024), where I developed and implemented programs focused on emotional regulation and basic neuroscience, ensuring compliance with institutional standards. Simultaneously, I directed and tutored online courses in Integrative Medicine for Equine Welfare, leading seminars on emotional management and the human-animal bond. At the University of Alcalá de Henares, I lectured on "Compassion, Self-Compassion, and Shared Humanity" (2022-2024), while at Universidad Mayor (2016-2022), I developed curricula for complementary therapies in animals, taught both in-person and online, and coordinated research projects. Additionally, I led a research group in 2018, studying the effects of complementary medicine on production animals. My earlier role as a Clinical Research Veterinarian at the Chilean Carabineros Cavalry School (2012-2019) involved managing equine care, conducting clinical trials, and ensuring regulatory compliance. I also coordinated Chile's first kinesiotaping course for equines in 2014.
Educación
With extensive clinical research experience, I have led and coordinated multiple veterinary research projects, notably at the Chilean Carabinero Cavalry School (2012-2019), where I managed clinical trials, including the study "Comparison of the diuretic effect of Furosemide and 30% Glucosated Serum on electrolytes in equestrian sports equines." I also served as Research Group Director at Universidad Mayor, overseeing research on complementary therapies for production animals (2018). Currently, as a Lecturer and Tutor at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares and Instituto Cultural Europeo (2022-Present), I coordinate research programs on emotional management and human-animal bonds. Academically, I hold a Master’s in Mindfulness and Compassion from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (2019-2020), an International Diploma in Veterinary Acupuncture for Equines (2018-2019) from EMVI and IVAS, a specialized course in Kinesiotaping for Equines (2014), and a Degree in Veterinary Medicine (2005-2013) from Universidad Mayor, where I also earned a Bachelor's in Conservation and Environment (2005-2007). Currently, I am pursuing advanced training in neuroscience at the Escuela de Epicuro, focusing on "The Brain as an Ally" (2024).
