My focus as a teacher and educational designer is twofold: firstly, to convey the German language and culture from a diverse and interactive perspective, and simultaneously to create innovative learning pathways. I have developed this perspective through my experiences in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, my Master's in DaF/DaZ at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, as well as through my life journey in Ecuador and Germany.
Throughout my career, I have accumulated and shaped experiences in the realm of international collaboration, teaching, and the design of various e-learning methods for forward-looking learning environments.
I have led various courses and worked with diverse target groups, ranging from children to adults. For example, I have led refugee courses in Munich, taught at Centro Alemán in Querétaro, Mexico, worked at language schools such as Alinguas and LenguaViva in Munich, served as a volunteer instructional assistant at IGS Anna Seghers in Mainz, worked as a language assistant at Universitat de Barcelona, and led summer courses for international youth.
During the course of my studies, I became acutely aware of the importance of shifting perspectives and empathizing with the learners' thought processes, all the while developing learner-centered approaches.
I bring a great deal of enthusiasm for new environments and am eager to immerse myself in novel fields. Whether in the pedagogical or conceptual realm, I perceive myself as a responsible, organized, and dedicated individual.
