I enjoy the deductive process inherent in scientific experimentation as well as the simultaneous application of knowledge, techniques and skills to achieve a specific purpose. Being able to independently develop a process that leads to problem resolution brings me immense motivation and personal satisfaction. Moreover, the prospect of positively impacting people's or aniamls' health through these solutions fills me with enthusiasm. This is what drove me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and subsequently embark on the academic journey to obtain a PhD in Biomedicine and Health. 

✨ My core values are empathy, responsibility, and integrity. I firmly believe that honesty, respect, and teamwork are essential elements in fostering a positive and harmonious working environment.

🎯 I consider myself a dedicated and dependable professional with an unwavering desire for personal growth. Currently, I feel the urge to take my career to the next level. Thus, I am seeking to transition from basic research to translational research, where I can have a broader impact with my work, ultimately benefiting patients, animals, and society. 

 

During my 5+ years as a Research Scientist, I have gained experience in:

• Research ➜ Experimentation in cell and animal models, novel therapeutic compounds, molecular biology techniques, experiment design, data interpretation, problem solving, developing strong critical thinking and excellent planning skills.
• Project management ➜ demonstrated by leading my own PhD project.
• Communication skills ➜ demonstrated by presenting data at 5+ scientific conferences.
• Leadership and teamwork ➜ demonstrated by mentoring 5 students of all levels and participating in 5 different research projects.
