Irene Carrasco Toledo

I am a highly dynamic, motivated, and hard-working, and have a cheerful disposition. I can learn quickly, and I am comfortable working alone with minimal supervision or as part of a wider team. I would greatly welcome the opportunity to join your team and contribute to the development of the department. While I currently live in Spain, I would be delighted to relocate to Scotland to pursue this exciting opportunity. 

I currently work in the Residue Group in a chemical laboratory at Moprilab S.L., and have substantial experience in biochemical analysis using chromatography techniques. My experience includes extraction of pesticides (QuEChERS method) in vegetables, fruits, soil, organic and inorganic fertilizers, using gas and liquid chromatography. I also have experience in preparing reference materials, water analysis and treatment, and physical-chemical analysis of soil, water, and fertilizers. My professional experience to date has involved the operation and maintenance of a wide range of laboratory equipment and an excellent attention to detail.

I am a graduate of Environmental Sciences (University of Murcia) and I currently completed my final project for the award of a Masters Degree in Advanced Techniques in Agricultural and Food Research and Food Development at Cartagena University in Spain.
