I started to research web development out of curiosity and discovered a fascinating world of problem solving and creative projects. I then enrolled myself in the full-stack web development program at CodeOp to learn more. Since then I have gained hands-on experience with coding responsive web applications from scratch. I enjoy learning to build well organized, clean coded, web applications that have thoughtful UI design and accessibility features. As a former teacher, I am passionate about continuous education, clear objectives, and working as a part of a diverse team. 
 

First Grade Teacher - Lighthouse American School of Madrid

• Developed a data driven first grade curriculum from scratch
• Planned lessons that met the academic and psychosocial objectives

After moving to Spain, I held several teaching positions. The responsibilities of this position allowed me to develop my research, management, and communication skills.

Here, I was at the intersection of the stakeholders and the software and technical knowledge used to meet their needs and constraints. This experience illustrated how much I love to be able to learn new skills that can help someone reach their goals.
