Eduardo Fuentes

Hello! I am Eduardo Fuentes, Industrial Designer, Graphic and now UXer.

I studied Industrial Design, which led me to win the Aurelio Blanco Awards for Industrial Design in the Community of Madrid in 2009 and shortly after 
I became interested in graphic design which allowed me to develop professionally in several companies in the watchmaking industry, pharmaceutical and cosmetics.

Now I have trained in UX/UI to start professionally in this sector because 
I am increasingly interested in the functioning of the digital world and in particular the process of user interaction with digital products. So today 
I am here, making the leap of evolution from the printed model to the digital world, trying to apply everything I have learned in the past, about color, typographies, composition, and also teamwork.

I also have training in 3D design, modeling and rendering and good hand for drawing, which I am currently applying in UX / UI to make my own illustrations, mindmaps, onboardings and user flows much more visual and understandable.

I consider myself a rational and creative person with attention to detail and for what they say a little bit self-demanding.
I like teamwork, which doesn't mean I don't feel comfortable with my individual work as well.

My goal is to grow digitally at the same pace as life does to find suitable solutions for each moment.

I am a responsible, dynamic and proactive professional. I have experience in the world of design. I possess high social skills as well as teamwork. 
I am able to inspire and motivate and generate a good work environment.

UX/UI Designer BECHIARA VR. (September 2022 - November 2022): 
UX/UI Designer for The Speak App project. An VR app to teach teenagers to speak in public.
Product design through all the phases of Design Thinking. 
Surveys, A/B testing, product definition, low-fi, wireframes testing with users, navigation flow.
Mind map, lean canvas, brand identity, icons, illustrations, high prototype and interactions with Figma. 
Mobile and desktop digital solution and landing page concept design.

Desktop Publisher and UX/UI AVON COSMETICS. (February 2010 - October 2021): 
Digital vehicles: Whatsapp brochure and Web store. Screen design, user flows, components.
Printed vehicles: Design, layout and production of ad-hoc pieces and sales brochure. Conceptualization and execution. PDFs production, testing, iteration and tracking until send to Print.
Blueprints checking and approval.
Management work between IMED Markets, Campaign planners and Print. Campaigns information loading into the system. Control of products loaded.
Manufacture of one mockup per Campaign. Printing, cutting, folding, binding and gluing to check the finished product before send to printing press.

Packaging Designer LABORATORIOS LILLY. (January 2009 - February 2010): 
Design and development of packaging matrices and blisters of medical products as Strattera, Zyprexa Velotab, Cialis or Actos. 
Text layout for medical leaflets in multiple languages. 
Accessibility testing, checking and approval.
Tools: Artpro, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress.

Decorator / Designer GRUPO MUNRECO VICEROY. (May 2006 - March 2008): 
Design of jewelry and watchmaking showcase and spaces to be assembled in store.
Design of POS material for exhibitors, catalogues, flyers and brochures.
Manufacture of modules and pieces for decoration spaces. 3D models.
Tools: Illustrator, Freehand, 3D Studio / Industrial machines: Cutting, sanding, assembly.

November 2021 - June 2022: 
UX/UI Design Bootcamp IRONHACK (Madrid)
