Dario Rakitic

 I’m a motivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong interest in the media industry. I just finished my second year of studies, with a semester abroad in Seville. The experience in different fields helped me to improve my logical thinking and apply it pragmatically. 

As a student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Management with a concentration in Entertainment at Macromedia University Cologne, I am actively building my foundation in media and creative industries. My semester abroad at EUSA Sevilla, Spain, has provided me with valuable international experience, which has helped me develop my communication and leadership skills. My continuing professional development in Social Media Management, Media Design, and Video Editing (Premiere Pro) has equipped me with the technical skills necessary to excel in my future career.

Growing up in Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina has given me the unique opportunity to become fluent in multiple languages, including German, Croatian, Slovenian, and Bosnian. This multilingual ability, along with my international background, has honed my cross-cultural communication skills and opened doors for me to work with diverse populations.

I started my professional journey as an Event Manager Apprentice at Com Cave College, Essen, where I learned about event management and planning. During my 6-month internship at Stiftung Zollverein, I gained practical experience in event management, customer service, and project coordination.

Currently, I work as both a Tourism Management Allrounder at ID Apartments in Island Vir, Croatia and as an Assistant to the Executive Director at MiDa, an Interior Construction Company in Duisburg. In my role as a Tourism Management Allrounder, I am responsible for customer service, event coordination, and social media management. As an Assistant to the Executive Director, I assist with project management and organizational tasks.

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, always eager to take on new challenges and continuously improve my skills. My passion for media and entertainment, combined with my education, work experience, and international background, make me a strong candidate for any media and creative industry roles.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Management with a concentration in Entertainment at Macromedia University Cologne.
