Chris Hamilton

I’m a  producer with extensive industry experience. Prior to my current position, I worked for two separate film production companies, where I gained valuable knowledge and skills.

As part of my professional development, I was selected to participate in Film London’s New Talent Strand, where I received pitch training from some of the top producers and industry executives in the business. Building on this foundation, I went on to develop and produce my debut feature film, A Million Days. The project has been picked up for distribution by Signature Entertainment and is set for release in late 2023.

Through my journey as a producer, I have honed my abilities to bring fresh ideas to the table, collaborate with industry experts, and deliver successful productions that captivate audiences.

Plan Nine Pictures / Producer

April 2019  - Present

I started my own production company in 2019, and went on to develop and produce my debut feature film, A Million Days, due to be released in 2023 by Signature Entertainment. I also created a writer’s network and workshop with the aim of discovering and championing new writing talent.
 

Peardrop Productions / Development Coordinator

October 2021  -  July 2022

Oversaw development of all projects. Reviewed all new projects and submissions. Other duties included script editing, pitch/look book creation and script analysis.

Freelance / Pitch Deck Designer

January 2019  - Present

Created various pitch materials for international film and television production companies.

Bright Shadow Films / Associate Producer

June 2018  / April 2019

Assessed scripts and pitches, wrote coverage and reports for submissions. Regularly participated in development meetings. Worked as script editor on numerous screenplays. Created pitch decks and lookbooks, and edited sizzles. Coordinated festivals and markets, and created and maintained networks.

I studied Broadcast Media Technologies at Leeds Beckett University.
