Carmen Pérez Vázquez

I am a Junior Data Scientist with experience in analyzing and developing metrics, data, and reports. I am enthusiastic about using data to solve real-world problems and am dedicated to continuing to learn and advance in my career. I am a team player with robust communication and interpersonal skills and have a proven ability to be flexible and adaptable in dynamic situations. Furthermore, I am an inquisitive individual who is passionate about acquiring new knowledge and continuously enhancing my skills.

I have done my project in ID DIGITAL SCHOOL since 2023 to the present on the Public Tender Prediction Project. I have focused on applying advanced Machine Learning and Data Science techniques using Python, Seaborn, Matplotlib, and NumPy for data analysis and visualization. I have built robust algorithms using boosting and regression models, validated for accuracy and effectiveness. I have also demonstrated practical application of these tools and techniques .

Previously, I worked at AMAZON as an HR Associate Partner from 2020 to 2023. I was involved in supporting stakeholders, managing absenteeism, engagement, sanctions, benefits, and improving tech processes, including tracker updates and dashboard maintenance. I also worked at AMAZON in the Learning and Development department. I ensured high KPI compliance, conducted deep dives, drove actions from Quality Assurance reports, and collaborated on international learning projects.

Before working at AMAZON, I was a Professor of Sociology at the University of Huelva from 2018 to 2020. I maintained high motivation, attendance, and grades. I innovated the department methodology. I also worked as an HR Consultant at DOPP CONSULTORES from 2017 to 2018. I achieved a billing record in the team project and improved and innovated procedures. Additionally, I worked as an Assistant Researcher at DASP GROUP from 2014 to 2016. I successfully managed tech and stats dashboards and contributed significantly to publications.

I completed an Intensive Bootcamp in Data Science and Machine learning from ID BOOTCAMPS in 2024, which included courses in Python, Databases, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Web Scraping, Text Mining, Maths and Stats. 

My academic background includes a Degree in Sociology from PABLO OLAVIDE UNIVERSITY with first-best marks and an average mark of 9.08. I also have a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Talent Management from LOYOLA LEADERSHIP SCHOOL and an Academic excellence award in 2016.
