Sobre Botuku Bokoko:

Dear Sirs:

I am writing to express my interest in this position. Given my related experience and excellent capabilities I would appreciate your consideration for this job opening. My skills are an ideal match for it.
I graduated in Law at the University of Valencia in September 2011. The next year, in January 2012, I graduated in English Philology at the University of Valencia. There were hard times; I had classes from 8.00 to 14.00 and again from 15.30 to 21.00. I had a lot to read and many subjects at that time, though this experience taught me how to prioritise, how to manage well my time and over all, how to keep the motivation over the time.
In 2005, I really challenged myself when I started to work in a temp recruitment agency; I spent my afternoons and Weekends working as a warehouseman for different companies. My main goal was not only to help my mother economically paying a portion of college textbooks and college tuition but also grow as a person, professionally and personally speaking, through my first job experience.
Even though the position I gained was satisfactory, I was missing a work experience abroad. I already had spent three months in New York during my summer holidays in 2000 and in the following year I spent another three months in New York, Washington, Philadelphia and Baltimore which helped me to improve my level of English but I did not feel it was enough because I knew I should gain international work experience before I get my degrees. Therefore I gave up my job as a warehouseman to challenge myself another time, and looking for an international work environment I became a Spanish private tutor in Cardiff (Wales) in October 2010. This position helped me to develop my written and spoken communication skills. In November 2010, Cardiff University was looking for four Erasmus students who were also Spanish native speakers to record listening exercises for students of a Cardiff high school. When I heard about this interesting project I did not hesitate to be part of it. Our job was to read out a short text and record it. My classmates and I really had fun, especially with bloopers but the most important thing was that we learned how to work as a team. It was an unforgettable experience.
My professional career in the legal sector started in 2011 when I worked for Azpitarte Abogados, one of the most prestigious law firms in Spain. The following year, the Government of Equatorial Guinea gave me the opportunity to work for G.E. Projects, a government institution responsible for civil works and infrastructures. In 2013 I was recruited by Vecoplan, the leading company in shredding and recycling technology, as a legal adviser. My work was to ensure the financial stability and security of the company reviewing all contracts and translating legal documents which committed my client.

From 2014 to 2016 I have worked as a Spanish and English teacher, translator and interpreter for several Spanish companies.

From 2016 to 2017 I worked for the U.S. Embassy in Malabo as a Language instructor (Spanish and English).

From 2017 to 2019 I worked for English City, a language academy in Valencia (Spain). From 2020 to 2021 I worked for Brigsol Language school. Last year I worked for Menéndez Pelayo International University.

I am currently working for English Lighthouse.

I appreciate your taking the time to review my credentials and experience. Again, thank you for your consideration.

Respectfully yours,

Botuku Bokoko
