Acerca de Alejandro Olaya Benitez-Cano:
I am very energetic and I have a great sense of humor. I consider myself very patient, calm and caring while teaching and I like to work and contribute to the wider school team. I often like to challenge myself, stepping out of the comfort zone and setting determined goals to become a better self.
Experiencia
I am a qualified Early Years Teacher who has developed most of my professional career in England. I have achieved useful experience working in nursery school settings in London and Kent, which has allowed me to learn and to acquire knowledge about the EYFS, Safeguarding and other laws linked to working with infants in the U.K.
Before moving to England, my passion for teaching developed early on. I volunteered as a member of the World Organisation of Scout Movement (WOSM) since I was sixteen in Spain. I organised teaching activities for children between eight and fourteen years old. I then worked as a TA in a classroom with children between four and six years old as part of my degree.
In the UK, I spent a few months working in a Day Nursery Longacre Childcare Ltd Broughton Cottage, but I realised that it was not the desire teaching role I was looking for. It helped to achieve certain Montessori knowledge, as the nursery was Montessori especialist, and also managed to gain team work experience. I then began my current role in a Nursery School in London called Tadpoles Nursery. I achieved a deeper knowledge of the EYFS during my time; I gained experience working alongside parents; I recorded and updated child's progress; I prepared, led and organised group activities; and I created teaching resources.
