We are now looking for a Machine Operator to join our agile and dynamic team Production Team. The position is temporary with a duration of permanent. The location for the position is Porriño, Spain.


What will you be doing
In this position, your work will include machining and deburring. On a typical day, you might machine one or several pieces.

You will not be working on this alone - even though the work requires a high level of independence, you will have the support from your supervisor and your teammates.

As a machine Operator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Set-up and basic care of machine tooling
  • Machining of components to specification
  • CNC machine programming and editing
  • Tooling and fixture setup
  • Use of measuring equipment
  • Quality checking own work
  • Use of engineering machinery [i.e. pillar drills, hand tools, bandsaw etc.]
  • Deburring
  • Use of overhead cranes
  • Communicate with all ops teams to ensure proactive actions are taken to meet OTIF.
  • Continuous improvement relating to process and procedures.
  • All duties carried out to be done in a safe manner following H&S safety procedures.
  • Any other duties that may be required.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • CNC machining knowledge.
  • Experience working with engineering drawings.
