- Global Manager Digital Payment- Purpose:

  • As a Manager Digital Operations at adidas you are responsible for specific business processes affecting small to medium user groups. Your task is to drive standardization and continuous improvement of assigned processes in collaboration with markets and other business stakeholders. Driving best practices, success criteria and contributing to a culture of operational excellence are just a few of the key activities that will be expected from this role. Additionally, you will be the key interface for local business stakeholders and markets affected by the processes within your area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Definition & Documentation
  • Define and document processes with global and local teams to enhance online payment solutions, collaborating with both internal and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for local stakeholders for online payment market rollouts and new functionalities.
  • Ensure alignment of online payment processes with the adidas tech ecosystem, integrating smoothly through both internal and external interfaces.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Continuously monitor online payment processes, identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
  • Review processes with key stakeholders to gather feedback and enhance the improvement backlog.
  • Detail change requests for new online payment functionalities to facilitate solution selection and documentation.
  • DaytoDay Operations
  • Support daily online payment operations and resolve issues, collaborating closely with markets and agile teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison for operational payment topics, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Best Practices
  • Lead the development and implementation of standard best practices for online payments.
  • Promote and train on best payment practices across the organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree with focus on Business Administration, Communication or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment.
  • Advanced knowledge in respective domain (e.g. Payments, Consumer Engagement etc.).
  • Experience in managing highly complex processes, involving multiple teams in different geographies.
  • Strong Vendor Management Skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business processes and business partners.
  • Very good communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
  • Comfortable working with enterpriselevel platforms and technologies.
  • Project management and project monitoring experience.
  • Fluent English both verbally and written.
