Become part of our indirect purchasing team to become a Packaging Buyer Your mission will be to efficiently manage the procurement of packaging materials, ensuring optimal quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

You will collaborate closely with internal departments to meet business objectives and enhance profitability.

What will you do? Your role highlights

You will research and identify potential packaging suppliers who can offer better terms in terms of lead time, quality, and pricing compared to existing suppliers.
You will negotiate prices and support the expansion and retention of the supplier portfolio.
You will evaluate supplier suitability based on their track record, production capacity, and compliance with regulations.
You will maintain effective communication with suppliers, promptly resolving any issues.
You will track purchasing trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
You will continuously improve the profitability of packaging procurement by identifying purchasing opportunities.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams (Packaging, Brand, Sales ) to understand their needs and goals.

Requirements:

You have higher studies in Organization Engineering, Economics, International Business, or related fields.
You are fluent in Spanish and English, other languages are valued.
You have 23 years of working experience as a packaging buyer.
Fruit & Vegetable knowledge is a plus.
You feel identified by being a team player, responsible, proactive, detailoriented, analytical, open minded, with good organization skills and able to adapt easily to different situations.
