BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 770 staff from 55 countries.

    Context And Mission
  • Reporting to the head of HR, the HR Controlling and Analytics Officer will ensure the proper management of personnel cost planning and provide deep analysis of the HR data, helping in the decisionmaking.
    Key Duties
  • HR Controlling:
  • Manage the personnel cost planning
  • Data entry of the personnel bookings
  • Provide support in the monthly closings of the payroll cost
  • Support Group Leaders in the economic (personnel cost) planning of their groups in collaboration with the Finance Projects unit
  • Supervision the HR budget (training, providers, etc.)
  • Control of the contracts with different providers and the budget devoted to them
  • HR Analytics:
  • Management of the HR KPI's monthly reports
  • Reporting of the different HR data gathered in the unit
  • Provide punctual reports to the different departments
  • Support the different areas of HR in the reporting
  • Personnel administration:
  • Official statistics of the departments in collaboration with the team members and payroll agency
  • Management of affiliated personnel of BSC
  • Provide organization charts updated
  • This is not a full definition of the role but covers the main aspects and drivers for success

Requirements:


  • Education
  • University Degree (Labour Relations, Finance and Administration)
  • Postgraduate degree in Controlling or Analytics of Human Resources will be a plus
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in an international research organization
  • Experience in data entry bookings (personnel cost) in an ERP system
  • Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (Spanish and English), other European languages will be valued
  • Competences
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office. (Excellent in Excel)

Conditions

  • The position will be located at BSC within the Management Department

  • Duration: Openended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration
