The role is essential within the GTO Operational Finance Performance central team, a cross functional team responsible for development of strategic, financial, and operational plans for Group Technology and Operations.

Cloud Finance Business Partner
***role coordinates strategy, FinOps, advisory & enablement execution activities to support the Head of Cloud Transformation providing financial insights for overall function to achieve our strategic and plan targets as we embark on our new commercialized model across GTO organization.

Your role

As part of the Operational Finance Performance team, you will develop financial and operational aspects of the cloud transformation to ensure alignment with the business goals:

Provide expert financial insights and deliver complex analysis to manage business performance and enhance decision making.
Maximize our market value to our customers and secure increased demand for our services through providing best in class business partnering, ensuring robust business case and full cost transparency to enable us to provide services at the right pricing, using fair and transparent charging models which will enable us to succeed in a demanddriving environment.
Continuous alignment with the product owner, engineering and operations functions with the cyclical development of an iterative cloud road map, understand FinOps KPI's and how this impacts financial performance.
Manage performance and reporting for overall functions. Lead the expense planning, forecasting, and reporting process with a focus on transparency and accuracy of forecasts.
Collaboratively develop relevant business cases in the cloud transformation, ensuring constructive challenge, tracking and delivery of benefits.
Own the expense and resource allocation process working with the product owners; effectively balance functional strategic objectives to short / longterm delivery of targets.
Develop and lead relationships with key stakeholders including business leadership and local GTO executive teams.

Your Skills and Experience

As a

Cloud Finance Business Partner

your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

2+ years experience in FinOps delivering AWS or Azure public cloud in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Expert level knowledge of Azure or AWS cost management services with associated certifications.
Deep understanding of financial planning & performance management, reporting, governance & controls, and other financial aspects.
Impact driven and commercial mindset.
Mature in navigating multifunctional corporate structures and staying outcome focused.
As comfortable getting handson as taking a step back and thinking strategically.
Forwardthinking & Selfstarter mindset to proactively identify opportunities and tackle them.
Strong ability to use experience, analysis & judgement to gain support and influence others.
Strong quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills incl. story telling.
Significant experience in managing senior stakeholders.
