For our operations in Madrid, we are currently seeking an Area Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.


As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple locations within a designated area.

Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of resources, sales, and customer relationships in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of 8 members.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, market share, and profitability within the assigned area.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies across all locations.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize operational processes, inventory management, and supply chain activities.
  • Implement performance metrics and tracking systems to monitor operational efficiency and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and provide guidance to managers and employees to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development through training programs and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in pharmaceutical products and technologies.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
