SUMMARY


We are looking for a Systems Security Engineer to join our Corporate Security team within Airbus Defence & Space in Spain (Getafe).


  • The jobholder: _
- _will take the lead to perform the Accreditation and the Secure Operation for accredited systems handling classified information. _
- _will provide support to the definition of the corporate security strategy and the security means to support it. _
- _will be in charge of security requirement definition, verification and compliance. _
- _will conduct security assessments over the final assembly line PITs (Product Industrial Tool System) infrastructure and propose, promote and review the implementations of corrective actions to mitigate the discovered risks _
- _additionally it will provide support to the EAS security assessments process started by other departments. _

You will work in a new and challenging international environment where cyber security is a key competence.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


The Secure Operation for System Accredited to handle up classified information, the activities to guarantee the security maintenance of the accredited system, once it entries into service, during its whole life-cycle.

Among other, it includes the execution of the following security administration activities:
install or upgrade computer components and software, perform security patches upgrade, users accounts management, execute regular checks of malicious software, provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, provide security awareness to staff,...).

The activities to be undertaken are listed below:

  • Perform the security patches upgrades.
  • Perform user accounts management (adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.).
  • Install or upgrade new hardware and software and ensure that security is not compromise.
  • Execute backups and recoveries procedures.
  • Follow the configuration control procedures.
  • Maintain updated and documented the secure configuration of the system.
  • Update the accreditation document set.
  • Analyse system logs and identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine security audits, provide the audit reports and execute the mitigations actions.
  • Answer security technical queries and assisting users.
  • Troubleshooting any reported security problems.
  • Ensure that the network infrastructure is up and running.
  • Involvement in the definition of security policies, standards and procedures, as well as the monitoring of the alignment of Products and PITS to these policies, standards and procedures through their entire product lifecycle
  • To ensure that security requirements are appropriately applied to the product portfolio and the PITS.
  • Provide means of checking and reporting that the necessary and sufficient security requirements are being implemented.
  • Be able to remediate exceptions and incidents related to Product Security through their entire lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:


This position is open to cyber security engineers profiles with experience in Secure Operation and Accreditation of systems willing to grow on security competences.


  • Engineering Degree (Industrial/Aeronautical/Communications Engineer)
  • Experience within Industrial Security mandatory
  • Experience within Information Systems mandatory
  • Experience within Information Security mandatory
  • Experience within Aircraft Security and ground support systems
  • Experience conducting security risks assessment
  • Experience in security audits
  • Experience in develop security standards, policies and procedures
  • Experience in develop awareness courses and material
  • Knowledge of security regulations (internal and external)
  • Knowledge of Security Evaluation, Certification and Accreditation Processes
  • Involvement in transnational / cross divisional projects
  • Ability to organize, design, plan and execute complex and interdisciplinary projects
  • Extended capacity for analysis and synthesis.
