Sr. Commercial Strategy Manager Hematology (acute leukemias) & Biosimilars


ROLE SUMMARY:


Pfizer's Hematology & Biosimilars portfolio is a growing franchise within the Oncology Business Unit, currently focused on CML, AML and ALL and expanding into MM.

BOSULIF, indicated in Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. BESPONSA indicated in Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and MYLOTARG in Acute Myeloid Leukemia complete the In-line portfolio

Regarding Biosimilars, ZIRABEV, TRAZIMERA and RUXIANCE are the anchor brands


The Commercial Strategy Manager will provide strategic commercial and operational guidance for the Hematology acute leukemia brands, BESPONSA and MYLOTARG, and BIOSIMILARS.

He/she will work in coordination with hematology/biosimilars in-market commercial, medical, and cross functional teams to maximize value and drive continued revenue growth for the product

This position requires a self-starter with strong strategic and analytical thinking, core pharma marketing skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively collaborate across the enterprise


ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop Hematology & Biosimilars Franchise strategic and operational guidance to maximize brand value by driving continued revenue growth, increased use in earlier lines of treatment, and expansion to new hospitals
  • Generate market and customer insights to shape critical success factors and strategies and gather crossfunctional insights to inform the short
- and long-term strategy for Hematology & Biosimilars Franchise assets

  • Lead competitive intelligence to maintain an updated perspective and deep understanding of the Hematology & Biosimilars space, including branded and generic competitors, payer strategies and regional nuances to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Lead and own the annual Hematology & Biosimilars operating plan and LRF cycle
  • Leverage experience, knowledge, and skills to provide support to commercial colleagues
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative tactics (i.e., telemedicine, AI, predictive algorithms) and omnichannel communication to strengthen brand value proposition and drive differentiation
  • Collaborate closely with Medical, CAI, PHI, HEOR, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs colleagues and the Global Team to evaluate business cases, define appropriate pricing strategies and secure ongoing proactive support for Hematology & Biosimilars initiatives
  • Partner with Supply and PGS colleagues to support the complex supply chain management, ensuring accuracy of estimated demand and timely availability of the products to minimize stock outs, write offs and maintain a patients first approach

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in pharmaceutical, with demonstrated experience in managing a sizeable asset
  • Strong collaboration/relationshipbuilding skills and ability to engage across multiple functions
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to synthesize and evaluate information, draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Postgraduate (MBA) preferred
  • Hematology/Oncology experience highly preferred
