We're searching for a proactive Senior VFX Artist to join thriving studio, CI Games, and play a key part in their continued success.

CI Games have been creating globally recognised titles for twenty years.

The fan-celebrated Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise has sold over 14 million copies worldwide, while the action RPG, Lords of the Fallen, has been enjoyed by over 10 million players across the globe, with the second iteration imminent.

Your responsibilities

Creation and development of VFX effects, especially particle systems for games.
Ensure that the VFX effects are performant and supporting the desired visual style of titles.
Ensure that VFX supports and highlights gameplay in the best possible way
Supporting the art team with feedback on visuals and performance, especially when it comes to achieving highly appealing effects
Anticipating, identifying, and articulating problem areas and developing preventative solutions

The skills and experience you'll bring to the role

3+ years of experience in VFX
Shipped a minimum of 1 PC/Console title as a VFX artist
Experienced with Unreal Engine Niagara, Autodesk Maya/3D Studio Max, and other related software
Able to find the balance between visual quality and realtime rendering performance
An eye for what looks natural/believable
Able to keep content relevant to the current project's art style and work within those limitations
Indepth knowledge of VFX principals and good sense of timing and staging
Comfortable being flexible and working on both routine and complex tasks
Ability to prioritise workload as well as being flexible and responsive to last minute changes
High level of attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent in English
