    About us

At Cloud District, people matter to us. We work towards goals based on two pillars: the product and the culture. It's not easy, but it's a commitment that drives and motivates us since the beginning. It might seem like a front or a strategy to attract people, but the truth is, here, people truly matter to us. We have a company culture focused on treating each other very well. We do this because we believe it's essential: taking care of each other, being diligent, working with passion. In the end, what drives us is the real and authentic, and that is embedded in the software of our culture, the one we have within and the one we will continue to create.

We are currently looking for a person to join us as a Frontend Developer as soon as possible, without rushing ourselves along the way. This individual will work with our Development team, on various projects and with different areas such as Development, UI, UX, QA, and SEO.

The infrastructure we set up on a day-to-day basis includes:

    • Collaborating with backend developers and web designers to enhance usability
    • Actively participating in the architecture of new services and products alongside our team
    • Assisting in establishing best coding practices and conducting periodic code reviews
    • Configuring processes while working collaboratively with other teams (internal or external) to efficiently meet the technical needs of the assigned project
    • Writing technical documentation and functional requirements guides
    • Programming with a Mobile First design approach
    • Designing and overseeing frontend development in terms of service security
    • Version control management
    • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies
    • Providing assistance in resolving technical issues

    Requirements

    • Demonstrable experience as a Frontend developer
    • Proficiency in React, React Native, and Redux (Thunk and Sagas)
    • Highly valued knowledge of Vue.js and/or Next.js
    • Experience with native ecosystems of Android and iOS
    • Knowledge in React libraries such as React Query or React Admin
    • We are transitioning to Typescript in many projects, so experience in this environment is appreciated, feeling comfortable with asynchrony and functional programming
    • Adherence to best practices and clean code in the development process (CI/CD, TDD, Code Review, Pair Programming, Static Analysis)
    • Spanish language proficiency, even if not your native language, being able to write, understand, and speak it fluently

    Benefits

    • An annual gross salary of 34,000-40,000€
    • 23 days of sacred holidays
    • A day off on your birthday, with lots of congratulatory gifs. If it falls on the weekend, you won't lose it, it's our gift, and we want you to enjoy it!
    • Half-day work (and half-day holidays) on December 24th and 31st, so we have time to prepare for the night party
    • Shortened hours on Fridays to make the most of the weekend
    • Intensive hours from June 15th to September 15th, making summer even more summery ⛱️
    • Remote-friendly and committed work environment. No privileges for in-person attendance
    • Flexible schedule. We truly respect your personal time
    • Private health insurance for all employees
    • Choice of working environment (Mac/Windows/Linux)
    • Two yearly offsites with the entire team, which are simple and very human
    • An internal podcast where we introduce new team members and the latest company updates to keep everyone informed. We always end with the favorite musical tune of the person we interview, and we usually enjoy it quite a lot, let's say it's discussed on slack ✍️

How many stages does this selection process have?

This process is divided into 4 stages: an initial culture interview with the People department lasting approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, followed by a technical test and a technical interview with the Lead Frontend, and finally, a brief and informal closing chat with team members.
